Frequently Asked Questions
Are you taking new clients?
Yes, however my availability is limited.
Do you practice full-model/ adherent DBT?
Yes, I provide individual DBT with phone coaching between sessions. I do not provide DBT skills training at this time. If you are someone seeking DBT skills training, or if skills training is clinically indicated, I will refer you to a DBT skills training group in your community, and I will work closely with your skills trainer during the duration of your treatment.
Do you take insurance?
I accept Aetna insurance in the state of Ohio.
Otherwise, my service rates are private pay. At the end of each month, I will provide you with a superbill that includes the dates and service codes of each appointment for you to submit to your insurance company, should you choose to. If you are seeking to be reimbursed by your insurance company, I recommend calling to see if your current plan covers out-of-network providers.
Are you seeing clients in person?
I provide in-person and telehealth appointments. My in-person appointments are scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
If you are located in Ohio, and I live in Massachusetts or a PSYPACT state, do I need to be in the state of Massachusetts or my PSYPACT state during our telehealth sessions?
Yes. I am licensed in both Ohio and Massachusetts, and a member of the PSYPACT. I can only see clients who are physically located in the following states at the time of their appointment: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Colorado, Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands, Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming, and Massachusetts.
Even though I will be located in Ohio, if you are considered a Massachusetts or PSYPACT client, you must be in the state of Massachusetts or a PSYPACT state for the duration of our session.
